Uncrates and shelves food stuffs and non-food items received from food distributors. Responsible for the weekly cleaning of coolers, freezers and bakery bins. Essential Job Functions: Follows established policies to prevent contamination or food-borne illness. Follows department procedures for labeling and dating items Unpacks and puts all groceries and supplies neatly on shelves using FIFO method Sweeps and scrubs walk-in freezers and coolers Wash bakery bins and refills as needed Prepares appropriate amounts of food to meet written menus for all service areas following established department standards. Operates department food production equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Follows established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment and work areas. Performs other miscellaneous functions such as serving on tray line and in the cafeteria needed. May be scheduled to work both retail food service and room service patient meal service Works every other weekend and every other holiday. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
