Summary:
This position oversees the operation of the branch office with loans and deposit accounts. Establishes and promotes teamwork with mortgage and insurance affiliates. Provides control over the functions of the office. Administers the operation of the branch with primary emphasis on loans, deposits and customer service activities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Oversees opening and closing procedures of the branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures.
o Supervises vault operations and procedures, and teller services.
o Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks and overrides.
o Processes loan applications and gathers supporting information for underwriting of business and personal loans.
o Handles customer problems and complaints in support of teller efforts; counsels customers with special needs or requests.
o Participates in activities for generating new business such as sales calls and special events.
o Reviews and distributes monthly branch reports as appropriate.
o Ensures branch compliance with banking regulations.
o Promotes and enhances the branch culture and fosters the development and implementation of organizational vision, policies and guidelines.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
o Four years of experience in a financial institution.
o Strong written, verbal and supervisory skills.
o Excellent organizational and time management skills.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office.
o Successful completion of in-house training.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
