Degree:
Social Work. Must fulfill all of the requirements for the MASTER'S DEGREE in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
In addition to meeting the basic entry level qualification requirements, applicants must have the following:
GS-12:
In addition to meeting the basic education requirement, I have at least 1 year of full-time specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-11 in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector). Specialized experience consists of:
providing program management and technical advisement regarding diverse Bureau human services programs pertaining to Indian Child Welfare, Child and Family Services and Child Protection matters; monitor and evaluate techniques related to Indian Child Welfare to make technical judgments in identifying issues; responsible in a specialist capacity, within the framework of established policies, for planning, organizing, coordinating and maintaining initiatives in the aforesaid program areas; performs a variety of duties relative to Indian Child and Family Service programs, Pub. L. 95-608. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the position to be filled. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (title 25, USC Section 472). The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
