Social Work Series). BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Degree:
Social Work. Must fulfill all of the requirements for the MASTER'S DEGREE in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
In addition to meeting the basic entry level qualification requirements, applicants must have the following:
GS-12:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector) which includes work involving applying practical knowledge of a wide range of social casework, family therapy, systems theory and community organization; direct provision of child welfare services, maintaining active agency participation in the varied advocacy and intervention programs and the coordination of and required cooperation with allied social service, health and other social service agencies; providing counseling services; developing and maintaining a formalized case management system which documents the workflow of case services with individual case plans; supervision, development and maintaining of IIM accounts; provides technical assistance on all aspects of social services programs and activities; and develops and supports program budget matters. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the position to be filled. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (title 25, USC Section 472). The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
